Launched in January 2025, Chocovado is redefining cocoa drinks with a unique blend of 45% cocoa powder—double the amount found in most commercial options—and Mauritius Dark Muscovado Sugar, prized for its natural minerals and deep caramel-like flavor. The product debuted in Konzum, the largest retailer in Southeastern Europe, and has exceeded expectations despite minimal promotion. Expansion discussions with additional regional retailers are ongoing, and in-store taste-testing events are set to launch in April.
The idea for Chocovado came to Michael Murgic, director of Victuspak d.o.o., in 2023 when he discovered the rich, maple-like taste of Mauritius Dark Muscovado Sugar in his tea. Knowing the health concerns of traditional cocoa drink mixes—often made with low cocoa content and high refined sugar—he saw an opportunity to create a premium, better-for-you alternative.
