Mauritian Sugars Make a Sweet Impression on Pépites-Club
The Mauritius Sugar Syndicate, in collaboration with La Route du Sucre and Pépites-Club, recently launched a promotional campaign to spotlight the exceptional qualities of Mauritian unrefined sugars to a discerning culinary audience.
This exclusive initiative was hosted on www.pepites-club.com from 2 to 13 April 2024, targeting Pépites-Club’s community of chefs and food professionals — individuals passionate about quality ingredients, authenticity of origin, and the producers behind them.
Throughout the two-week promotion, members were introduced to the diversity and depth of Mauritian sugars through:
- A dedicated newsletter sent to over 10,000 contacts
- Special video features
- Social media storytelling

Pépites-Club, a French platform devoted to connecting chefs with carefully curated products, proved to be the ideal space to share the story and heritage of Mauritius’ 100% natural, non-GMO sugars — made from canes grown without insecticides or fungicides on volcanic soil, and processed using traditional methods.
The response from the culinary community was overwhelmingly positive, with strong interest and sales across the full product range.
